Quality Manager is urgently required for a pioneering FMCG Company located In Jeddah –KSA.
-SUMMARY:- The primary role of this position is to manage the overall total quality in the plant, branches and corporate office including but not limited to troubleshooting plant issues, quality assurance laboratory, sanitation programs, HACCP, Food Safety & Quality Management System (FSSC 22000 + ISO 9001 certification), third party audits, regulatory compliance and customer complaints. -DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES: General: 1. Establishes the company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications. 2. Coordinates with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from suppliers. 3. Develops standards for quality as well as health and safety. 4. Sets up and maintains controls and documentation procedures. 5. Monitors performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. 6. Controls and updates all procedures, including quality procedures, standard operating procedures and work instructions so that all personnel know and follow the correct established guidelines 7. Develops and manages quality training programs and administer the training for all plant employees 8. Leads continuous improvement activities 9. Coordinates with Human Resources Department to provide required training to employees 10. Maintains a safe work environment for employees and visitors by adhering to company policies and procedures for safe work practices and conditions. -Manufacturing: 1. Ensures manufacturing/ production's processes meet international and national standards. 2.Oversees and controls all plant documentation and ensures a safe work environment that efficiently manufactures highest quality products for customer specifications 3. Manages and maintains a highly trained quality assurance staff to confirm product test are completed promptly and accurately to ensure only the highest quality products to the customer 4. Facilitates the plant HACCP and quality teams 5. Communicates plant quality information on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis 6. Provides plant management and corporate staff an accurate view of plant performance through reports, meetings and presentations 7. Develops and monitors the plant environmental program as it relates to product quality 8. Accountable for compliance with all OSHA and all applicable Saudi Quality guidelines and regulations to maintain Food Safety and Quality standards for all products. 9. Ensures products are of the highest quality to meet company standards and customer specifications. 10. Leads multi-plant QA meetings to review corrective actions on consumer complaints. -Branches: 1. Prepares for and participates in customer and regulatory audits at the plant as well as branches to ensure superior audit scores and compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements 2. Identifies and implements corrective action to prevent recurrence and provide full documentation of investigation and corrective actions accomplished 3. Oversees and investigates all plant customer returns or complaints to ensure accurate determination of root cause and implementation of any corrective actions in a timely manner. 4. Coordinates, plans and follows the daily work of the Supervisors and Inspectors. 5. Ensures the availability of all relevant standard specifications of shop cleanliness, salesmen and products presentation. -QUALIFICATIONS ;- • Bachelor degree in Food Science/ Technology or Chemistry, MBA is a plus. • 5-7 years of experience in food manufacturing industry • Certificates: ISO 22000 / FSSC Certification. • Saudi or any other nationality with transferable Iqama SKILLS:- • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, basic quality testing and safety issues • Excellent problem solving • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic • Excellent computer skills -interested candidates please send your cvs writing the job title in the subject line to email@example.com
